ABOUT
Maya is in the northern wing of the Barbican estate, and is slightly quieter than Loop, which sits immediately to the south. A series of gardens and squares interconnect to form large, open planes crisscrossed with converging walkways.
Maya's size and relative emptiness is it's primary challenge. Most routes across the arena are constricted, forcing players together if they are on the move. For the more static player Maya is a gift, providing long, covered sight-lines and excellent vantage points.
While less confusing in layout than loop, Maya's checkpoints are often highly exposed with few opportunities for rapid escape, making player positioning particularly important.
